You may have heard rumours concerning strike action within Turkish Airlines. We are at present in discussion with the workers union, and whilst these talks are continuing we have so far been unable to reach an agreement with them. According to union laws and regulations, the members of the union (Hava-Is) are due to officially give notice to Turkish Airlines management on 20th July 2007 of their intention to take strike action. This does not mean that strike action will take place on this date. This is simply the date that notice may be given to us. During these negotiations all of our flights will operate as per normal schedule. We will, of course, continue to advise our passengers of any developments that may interrupt or affect our services.
