    Dear Mr. Squarepants,

we thank you for your patience until our delayed answer to you.

The lounge access rules are part of the harmonization process within Star Alliance and therefore all influencing factors were analyzed in detail. Feedback from our most important customers - like yours - showed us how important lounge use upon arrival is especially for our frequent travellers. In consequence, our responsible department worked intensely on an answer serving all needs.

Today, we gladly confirm to you that access to the Lufthansa Lounges for HON Circle Members and Senators will be granted whenever arriving with a flight operated by Lufthansa, one of our Partner airlines or a Star Alliance carrier. We ask for your understanding that our employees at the lounge will have a short look at our guests' status card and at the valid same day arrival boarding pass.

Dear Mr. Squarepants, we hope that we can make clear how important your comfort on board and after arrival is for us. It would give us great pleasure to welcome you in one of our lounges, soon.

    Kind regards

    Lufthansa German Airlines
