Lufthansa Approves EU1 Billion Order for Twelve New Aircraft Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Lufthansa AG’s supervisory board has approved an order for a total of twelve new aircraft, the company said in an e-mailed statement today, adding that the order has a list price of 1 billion euros. Of that number, two Airbus A380s and one Airbus A330-300 will be deployed for long-haul routes for an interim period, the statement said.
