Members who would have earned at least 600 Qpoints in a 12 month period will be upgraded to Platinum tier. New membership levels The new tiers will be Burgundy, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Existing Privilege Club and Burgundy members will be merged into the Burgundy tier, which becomes the base level of the programme and will no longer require requalification. New tier qualification and renewal thresholds Upgrading to the next membership tier will now be easier to achieve as Qpoints earned within any 12 month period will be evaluated daily. Our tier renewal criteria has also been modified to consider flights in last 12 or 24 months to make tier renewal a lot more convenient. Qcredits Introducing Qcredits a brand new reward benefit that will be awarded to Gold and Platinum members and can be redeemed for a selection of services such as upgrades and Excess Baggage on Qatar Airways flights, payment of award fees and guest lounge access at Doha International Airport.
