Priority Pass Lounge empfehlung thread

Es scheint mir, dass doch einige hier den PP haben (sei es normal oder durch amex platin) und ich dachte es ist vielleicht nicht schlecht wenn man sich über PP Lounge Erfahrungen mal zentral austauschen könnte bzw anderen Tipps geben könnte.

Ich beginne mal..

kann mir jemand für HKG und SIN eine Loungeempfehlung geben? Ich habe gehört in SIN soll die Skyview lounge nicht schlecht sein.

 

HKG und SIN nicht, aber für MAD kann ich Sala Tauromaquia empfehlen.

Ist wohl 2006 zur Lounge des Jahres bei PP gewählt worden und wirklich schön.

 

Skyviewlounge war ich zweimal und ist prima. Warme Snacks, Dusche, Getränkeauswahl ok, grosszügig.

 

warum pp lounge und nicht biz oder f Lounge...?

 

Nicht jede/r fliegt BIZ oder First. :?

Gelungene Einrichtung. Warme Snacks/Speisen werden je nach Tageszeit angeboten. Wuerde ich persoenlich zum Aufenthalt problemlos weiterempfehlen.

Lounge THE ORYX LOUNGE
Location Airside - the Lounge is located in the Transit Hall alongside Duty Free shops
and across the Terminal from the Gates. Passengers joining flights from Doha
can reach the Lounge after Passport Control to their left hand side.
Hours 24 hours daily.
Conditions Maximum 6 hour stay - Separate smoking/non-smoking areas available - No alcoholic
drinks available.

Gelungene Einrichtung. Warme Snacks werden je nach Tageszeit angeboten. Wuerde ich persoenlich zum Aufenthalt problemlos weiterempfehlen.

Lounge DCA BUSINESS CLASS LOUNGE
Location Terminal 1
Airside - between Gates 8 and 10.
Hours 24 hours daily.
Conditions Maximum 5 hour stay - Separate smoking area available.

Fuer das Aufkommen mittlerweile zu klein geraten trotz grosszuegiger Raumgroesse. Reichhaltiges Angebot an Speisen. Eigentlich doch recht ok, besser als sich draussen im Terminal aufzuhalten.

FRANKFURT

Lounge AMERICAN AIRLINES ADMIRALS CLUB
Location Terminal 1
Landside - the Lounge is located on the Gallerie Level in Departure Hall B/C,
next to the walking bridge to the Sheraton Hotel, before Security/Passport
Control checkpoint.
Hours 07:00 - 20:00 daily.
Conditions All immediate family members can enter an American Airlines Admirals Club with
the member, but the number of persons who are not immediate family will be
limited to two (2) at any one visit - Non-smoking.

Oder auch Schrott Lounge. Diese Lounge ist nicht nur unguenstig gelegen, sondern bietet auch recht wenig, um sich dort aufzuhalten zu wollen. Fuer Alkoholiker ok.

Location Terminal 2
Airside - Departure Level, Part E, Non-Schengen area. After Passport Control
and Security, turn left. The Lounge is located opposite Gate E8.

Von insgesamt 3 PP-Lounges meine Lieblingslounge in Istanbul. Meist wenig los, ruhig abgelegen. Auswahl an Speisen/Snacks und Getraenken aber auch eingeschraenkt. Aber dafuer dennoch gemuetlich und geeignet zum ausruhen.

ISTANBUL

Airside - after Passport Control, turn right. The Lounge is located at the
end of the corridor, above the Food Court area.

Bislang nur von aussen inspiziert.

Lounge CIP LOUNGE
Location Airside - immediately after Passport Control, turn right and take the escalator/stairs
to the Mezzanine Floor (Level Two) where the Lounge is located.
Hours 24 hours daily.
Conditions No alcoholic drinks are available - Maximum 2 hour stay - Non-smoking.

Nun besser als gar nichts in KHI wuerde ich sagen. Der gruene Stoffbezug der Sitze ist ein Stich ins Auge. Aber dafuer warme Speisen/Snacks erhaeltlich.

KUWAIT
International - KWI
Lounge PEARL LOUNGE
Location Airside - pass through Immigration Departure Point and turn left. The Lounge
is located on the second floor opposite Gate 2.
Hours 24 hours daily.

Gute Lounge. Gelungene Einrichtung. Auswahl an kalten/warmen Speisen. Auch zum laengeren Aufenthalt geeignet.

MIAMI (FL)
International - MIA
Lounge CLUB AMERICA
Location Concourse E
Landside - Departure Level, just before the Security Check, on the right hand
side.
Hours 10:00 - 22:00 daily.
Conditions No alcoholic drinks are available for passengers under 21 years of age - Non-smoking.

Ebenso kein Highlight. Sehr duerftig.

3 where the Lounge is located.
Hours 24 hours daily.
Conditions Maximum 4 hour stay - Children under 6 years are admitted free - Non-smoking
- Complimentary snacks and soft drinks from the buffet table - No alcoholic
drinks are available for passengers under 18 years of age - Fax facility and
alcoholic drinks are both subject to payment locally.

Enttaeuschende Lounge fuer hiesige Standards.

Also, ich fliege demnächst mit Germanwings von München T2.

Komm ich für einen innerdeutschen Flug auch in die Delta Lounge oder funktioniert nur die Europa Lounge?

Im Terminal 2 kommst Du in: gar keine Lounge

PP Lounges sind nur in Terminal 1 hinter der Sicherheitskontrolle...

Location: Airside - after Security Checks and Passport Control. The Lounge is located downstairs between Gates C11 and C15.

Vorteile: Direkt gegenüber der Sicherheitskontrolle, nicht überfüllt
Nachteile: leicht zu übersehen, dürftiges Snackangebot, beschränkter Ausblick


Airport: Hamburg - Fuhlsbüttel (HAM), Terminal 2
Lounge: Airport lounge
Location: Airside - in the main Departure Area, after Boarding Pass/Ticket Control, take the lift on the right hand side to the Lounge level (2nd Floor).

Vorteile: netter Ausblick aufs Rollfeld
Nachteile: dürftiges Snackangebot, meist relativ voll


Airport: Nürnberg - Airport (NUE), Terminal 1
Lounge: Noris sky lounge
Location: Airside - the Lounge is located via the Security Check, on the ground floor near to Gates A01-07. It is essential that cardholders do not proceed directly to the Lounge but first identify themselves as Priority Pass cardholders to staff at the Information Desk in Departure Hall 2

Vorteile: gutes Snackangebot, nicht überfüllt
Nachteile: beschränkter Ausblick, komplizierte Zugangsregelung, Informationsschalter schwierig zu finden


Airport: Barcelona - El Prat (BCN), Terminal B
Lounge: Sala vip canudas
Location: Airside - after entering Module 3, the Lounge is located opposite Departure Gates 30-39

Vorteile: nicht überfüllt, spanische Standardlounge
Nachteile: beschränkter Ausblick


Airport: Munich - Franz-Josef Strauss (MUC), Terminal 1
Lounge: Atlantic lounge
Location: Airside - Module C, Level 5 (Non-Schengen Area). There is direct elevator access to the Lounge behind Passport and Security Control

Vorteile: Standardlounge
Nachteile: beschränkter Ausblick, überfüllt

 

Getränke reichlich, aber leider gibt's nur abgepackte Snacks. Die gleich daneben befindliche Spanair-Lounge hat mir deutlich besser gefallen. Insbesondere die leckeren grossen Oliven.

 

Gibt es jemanden hier der für den PP eine Lounge in Lax empfehlen kann? Liegen die vor oder nach der Security? Fliege LH oder united..

 

Ich hab jetzt hier ein paar mal was vom Flughafen Barcelona gegeben und da ich keinen neuen Thread aufmachen möchte (habe aber allerdings auch keinen zu meinem Thema gefunden - aber sicherlich gibt es irgendwo einen).

Jedenfalls bin ich nächste Woche das erste Mal in BCN und würde gerne wissen ob es empfehlenswert ist (vom Preis/Wartezeit/etc.) sich vorher ein Taxi zu buchen?? Muss vom Flughafen in die Stadt (Calle Princessa - um genau zu sein). Oder reicht es sich einfach ein Taxi am Ausgang zu nehmen.

Irgendwelche Erfahrungen??? Habe das alles schonmal gegoogelt und ein paar interssante Sachen gefunden. Mich würde jedoch persönliche Erfahrungen interessieren. Was ich auf google gefunden habe ist das man z.B. für 35 € p.P. vom Flughafen in die Stadt kommt (Taxi). Das erscheint mir bei 10 min. Fahrt (lt. Anfahrtsskizze Hotel) etwas viel. Oder nicht??

 

@B747. Ich weiss leider nicht genau wo Dein Hotel ist. Aber ich habe zuletzt 35 EUR bis zum Porto Olympico bezahlt. Das Taxi habe ich uebrigens nicht vorbestellt, sondern direkt aus der Schlange ausgewaehlt. Der Weg hat dann aber auch etwas mehr als eine halbe Stunde, ohne einen riesigen Stau, gedauert. Wenn Du in die City zur Stosszeit willst, solltest Du eine etwas laengere Anreise immer einkalkulieren.

Das war schonmal ein guter Hinweis. Zeitlich hab ich eigentlich keinen Stress. 35 € das ist absolut ok (Taxifahrt komplett nehme ich an - also nicht p.P).

Aber wie gesagt 35€ pro Kopf lt. Annonce von der gegoogelten Seite, dann reden wir schließlich von 70€ und da sieht m.E. die Welt schon wieder ganz anders aus.

Ich denke ich werde es so machen und mir vorher nichts buchen sondern einfach am Ausgang ein Taxi nehmen!! Ich frag einfach vorher nach dem ungefähren Preis, hoffe die sprechen Englisch, wovon ich jetzt mal ausgeh.

Übrigens zufällig ne Ahnung was ne Schachtel/Stange Zigaretten in Spanien kostet???
