Nationwide Airlines suspends operations Domestic and international carrier Nationwide Airlines on 29 April announced that financial difficulties had forced it to cancel all of its flight operations until further notice. details of the airline’s local and overseas offices are available at the company’s website. Nationwide has struggled financially since its entire fleet was grounded for inspection in November 2007; the Civil Aviation Authority imposed the ban after an engine fell off one of the company’s Boeing 737 planes shortly after take-off from CPT. While flights were gradually resumed over the following months, the losses incurred during the grounding, plus an increase in fuel costs and declining passenger numbers, have prompted a cash-flow crisis at the airline
ja? wurde letztes Jahr noch zur besten Airline gewählt... von den Passagieren! kann ich aber nur mit SAA domestic vergleichen. Und die sind vorbildlich.
:shock: Wow! Und wir sind im Februar noch mit denen geflogen (CPT-JNB-MQP). So schlecht fand ich deren Service nicht. Und sie hatten extrem günstige Preise (bei Direktbuchung auf der Webseite und Zahlung in Rand). Eigentlich schade.
