Da der "AMB ACC" zum 30.06.2014 entfällt, musste IHG wohl etwas "bieten", um die Verärgerung in Grenzen zu halten. Man erhält jetzt in allen InterContinental-Hotels der Gruppe ab dem 01.07.2014 für jeden gezahlten US-$ zehn Punkte (oder wahlweise 2 Meilen) gutgeschrieben, eine Praxis, die bisher nur bis zum Crowne Plaza-brand galt, nun aber (endlich) auch in den InterConti-Hotels gelten soll. Dies ist insbesondere für die IC-Gäste interessant, die bisher -auch als RA und auch bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalten- maximal 4.000 Punkte (+ natürlich AMB ACC) erhielten. das wurde auch Zeit! Jedoch, (so finde ich) solange man keinerlei Vorteile in anderen Hotels der Gruppe (Holiday In, CP, etc) wird das Programm nie zb. mit SPG auf 'Augenhöhe' kommen. Kann mich kaum entsinnen, dass ich mal ein Upgrade bei CP bekommen habe. Desweiteren finde ich, dass man für RA Status klare Grenzen vorgeben soll, siehe SPG 75 Nächte. Vielleicht bekommt IHG das ja noch mal hin. Dann komm ich gerne zurück.
